Job Title: High School Math & Career and Technology Studies Teacher

Location: Lighthouse International School, Phuket, Thailand

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: At least ฿55,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a committed, student-focused educator to join our team for the 2026-2027 academic year. This dual-role position involves teaching the Alberta Curriculum for Mathematics 10C and leading engaging Career and Technology Studies (CTS) courses. These courses are designed to enhance students' critical thinking, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Instruction & Assessment: Develop, deliver, and evaluate unit plans and daily lessons in accordance with the Alberta Program of Studies for Math 10C, covering topics such as Linear Relations, Measurement, Polynomials, and Trigonometry, as well as assigned CTS strands.
- Classroom Management: Create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that accommodates various learning styles and promotes academic excellence.
- Technology Integration: Incorporate modern educational technology and digital tools effectively into teaching practices and CTS coursework.
- Student Support: Offer differentiated instruction, provide constructive feedback, and conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and success.
- Community Engagement: Actively collaborate with colleagues, participate in staff meetings, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree with a specialization in Mathematics or a related field.
- Certification: Valid Alberta Professional Teaching Certificate or eligibility for Alberta accreditation.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in teaching High School Mathematics; experience in teaching CTS or practical technology courses is highly advantageous.
- Competencies: Extensive knowledge of the Alberta curriculum, strong classroom management skills, and excellent communication skills.
