This full-time role involves providing academic and behavioral support for students across Key Stages 1, 2, and 3. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students overcome challenges and succeed in their education.
Key responsibilities include working closely with individual students and small groups to improve literacy, mathematics, and overall learning development. The role focuses on creating a supportive and encouraging environment for students to gain confidence and reach their potential.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver targeted intervention programs for students needing extra assistance, monitor their progress, maintain accurate records, and evaluate the effectiveness of the support strategies. Collaboration with classroom teachers, parents, and the SENCO is essential to ensure consistent and effective guidance. The role also involves providing pastoral care and supporting students' emotional well-being.
Applicants should have experience working with pupils with low attainment or specific learning needs and a strong understanding of the national curriculum for KS1, KS2, or KS3. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are required, as well as a flexible, positive, and proactive attitude.
