Job Description:

Curtain Up Drama and Magic Co., LTD, based in Bangkok, is a creative hub focused on inspiring young people through the performing arts. We offer drama and musical theatre programs in schools, our studio, and community workshops. Our team also produces interactive performances and original productions for diverse audiences.

Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and versatile Musical Theatre & Drama Teachers who are confident both in the classroom and on stage. The ideal candidates will conduct regular classes and workshops, prepare students for performances, and potentially participate as performers in our productions. This role is open to all nationalities, but candidates must possess a good level of English.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach drama, acting, and/or musical theatre to students aged 4–18 with varying abilities.
- Conduct engaging lessons in schools, after-school programs, and our studio.
- Plan and lead workshops, holiday programs, and performance-based projects.
- Direct and rehearse students for end-of-term shows and special events.
- Perform in selected productions and interactive shows.
- Collaborate with the Curtain Up creative team to develop new programs and materials.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Communicate with students, parents, and schools about progress and events.

Requirements:

- A strong background in drama, acting, or musical theatre, with teaching experience preferred.
- Confident in singing and movement for musical theatre roles.
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to different ages, skill levels, and cultural backgrounds.
- Reliable, organized, and professional, with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work across various locations and schedules.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience in directing or choreography.
- Ability to play piano or guitar as an accompaniment.
- Experience with devised theatre or interactive performance.

Contract & Pay:
We offer flexible part-time opportunities, with pay starting at ฿600 per hour. The salary is dependent on experience and the specific role (teaching, performing, or combined).
