Roong Aroon School in Bangkok is seeking a dedicated Native English-Speaking Kindergarten Teacher to join our holistic education team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of at least ฿50,000 per month.
As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will be responsible for fostering student development by designing value-based lesson plans that integrate holistic learning encompassing the head, hand, and heart. You will create and maintain a warm, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe and at home. The role includes assisting with daily classroom operations, such as chores, cooking, and cleaning, to promote responsibility and cooperation among students.
You will set up learning centers tailored to students' individual needs and interests, encouraging exploration and creativity. Designing interactive language-learning activities in a mixed-age classroom and providing structured literacy lessons for KG3 students to build confidence before transitioning to primary school is also part of your responsibilities. Regular communication with parents, holding termly meetings to discuss student progress, and participating in parent workshops (1–2 times per year) is expected.
Engagement in daily reflections with co-teachers and attendance at weekly team meetings to collaborate and enhance teaching practices are also required.
Qualifications for this position include:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
- Passion for holistic, child-centered education and experiential learning.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Native-level fluency in English is required; native English speakers are strongly preferred.
- A willingness to engage in all aspects of school life, including shared responsibilities and community involvement.
