We are recruiting Part-Time Native English Teachers at Orion Academy in Taipei, Taiwan.
Location: Section 2, Xinglong Road, WenShan District, Taipei
Start Date: September 2025 or earlier
Position 1: Weekday English Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Teach students in Grades 1–3 (ages 6–9) in small classes (6–12 students)
- Focus on developing oral communication and writing skills
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment
- Adapt instructional strategies to align with Orion Academy’s educational philosophy
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM (minimum 2 days per week)
- Administrative hours: flexible/negotiable
- Future full-time opportunities may be available
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (required)
- Teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL) is a plus
Compensation:
- NT$800+/hour for teaching (negotiable based on experience)
- NT$400/hour for administrative duties (e.g., meetings, training, internal reviews)
Position 2: Cambridge English Program Instructor (KET/PET/FCE)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Cambridge English classes to prepare students for KET, PET, or FCE exams
- Deliver lessons emphasizing speaking, writing, and reading comprehension
- Provide structured guidance on exam techniques and confidence-building
- Support learners at the upper elementary and junior high levels
Schedule Options (times negotiable):
- Wednesday or Friday evening: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Saturday afternoon sessions also available
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (required)
- Experience with Cambridge English exams (KET, PET, FCE)
- Cambridge certifications (e.g., CELTA, TKT, or equivalent) preferred
- Teaching certification is a plus
Compensation:
- NT$800/hour for teaching (negotiable based on experience)
- NT$400/hour for administrative duties (e.g., meetings, training, internal reviews)
