Windfield International School, located in Ko Samui, Surat Thani, is seeking a full-time Science Teacher for Years 7–9. The successful candidate will deliver the Cambridge Lower Secondary Science Curriculum, integrating STEM/STEAM principles to foster curiosity, scientific thinking, and problem-solving among students.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, using inquiry-based learning to promote scientific reasoning, and integrating cross-disciplinary projects. The teacher will also assess student progress using formative and summative methods, manage lab safety, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance STEAM opportunities.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field, a recognized teaching qualification, and at least two years of experience in teaching Lower Secondary Science. Familiarity with the Cambridge Lower Secondary Science Curriculum and a strong command of English are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in integrating STEM/STEAM, project-based learning, and proficiency in digital learning tools.
