Job Description:

Regent's International School, Bangkok is seeking dedicated individuals for two full-time positions at our Wang Thonglang campus.

Position 1: Social-Emotional Counsellor
We are looking for a full-time Social-Emotional Counsellor to support our students' wellbeing and personal development. The counsellor will provide confidential counselling services to students dealing with emotional, behavioural, mental health, or personal challenges. Responsibilities include conducting individual and small-group counselling sessions, implementing age-appropriate interventions, and offering crisis support. The role involves maintaining professional boundaries, identifying cases for specialist referrals, and keeping confidential records adhering to safeguarding and data protection policies. The counsellor will contribute to mental health awareness, design and deliver wellbeing programs, facilitate workshops, and advocate for wellbeing across the school. The counsellor will also work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) on child protection matters, respond to safeguarding concerns, and collaborate with external professionals for referrals. Position 2: Primary EAL Department Teaching Assistant
We are also recruiting a full-time Primary EAL Department Teaching Assistant to support English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners in our primary school. The teaching assistant will work closely with classroom teachers to assist EAL students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in lessons. Responsibilities include supporting language skills development, reinforcing key vocabulary, assisting with small-group interventions, and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs. The role also includes monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to classroom management. Applicants should have experience in a teaching assistant or similar educational role, ideally in a primary school setting, with strong knowledge of EAL teaching strategies and excellent communication skills.
