Time commitment is between two and four months (dates flexible, for reference the semesters begin February and August). The program is an English teaching assistant position working with public school English teachers in-classroom and in conversational English classes.
Qualifications: 24+ years old with undergraduate degree; 1 year of teaching experience OR CELTA/Oxford Seminars TEFL certificate for Semester program.
In your reply, please describe your interest in teaching/living in Colombia, addressed to Thomas. I started the program a while back, roamed Colombia for a couple of years, then set up a website and a US-based NGO to connect you with wonderful teachers in Colombia who would love to host you and share cultures and education experiences! As a volunteer, your reward comes from connecting with the Colombian people. For more information contact us at tomas.davis@hotmail.com or visit our website at www.suenoscompartidos.org.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.
📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Colombia before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
