🔷 JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Salary: 2.5M-3.0M won (US$1,700-US$2,000) based on your teaching experience & qualifications.
- Severance pay (1 month salary) at the end of the contract.
- Contract period: Minimum 12 months with the option to extend.
- Target students: kindergarten – High school (age group: 5 - 16) or Adults
- Work hours: 25-30 hours of teaching per week
- Housing: Furnished living accommodation provided by the school (within walking distance)
- Air Ticket: sponsored by hiring school (one way ticket at the end of the contract)
- Vacation: 11 paid vacation days and around 10 national holidays
- Medical Insurance: employer pays 50%, teacher pays 50%
- Visa sponsored by employer
- Low income tax
- Living costs are much cheaper than in the States or Japan.
🔷 JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Native English speaker (UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand)
- Bachelor's degree in any major required
- No ESL teaching experience necessary
- TESL/TEFL certificate preferred but not mandatory
- Accountable and proactive work ethic preferred

You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.
Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
