Suntek Elementary School, located in Danshui, is seeking a full-time homeroom teacher to join our vibrant and diverse team. Our school values inclusivity and currently employs 16 foreign teachers. As a homeroom teacher, you will collaborate with a Taiwanese partner teacher to create an engaging and effective learning environment. Our curriculum incorporates materials from Oxford University Press and National Geographic to enhance students' English skills and prepare them for fluent communication.
Key Details:
- Position starts on August 1, 2026.
- Monthly salary is 75,000 NT with annual increases.
- Health insurance is included.
- We offer ten weeks of paid vacation during winter and summer for those who re-sign, and three weeks of winter vacation without re-signing.
- Yearly performance bonuses range from 50,000 to 100,000 NT.
- Work hours are from 8 am to 4 pm.
- Opportunities for after-school classes are available after the first semester at a rate of 900 NT per hour.
- Dormitory-style housing is provided if needed.
Ideal candidates should have prior teaching experience, be energetic and engaging, show initiative, enjoy connecting with students, work well in a team, and be capable of designing effective programs to enhance students' skills.
