Alphaville American School is a well-established institution located in Taipei, Taiwan. Since 1989, we have been offering an American-style learning environment for early childhood and elementary students.
Our teaching approach focuses on English immersion, interactive learning, creative projects, literacy activities, and authentic communication, rather than traditional ESL methods. We prioritize building strong teacher-student relationships and fostering a positive classroom culture.
We are looking for Native English-Speaking Teachers who are passionate about working with young learners (K-G6) and are dedicated to nurturing students' confidence, communication skills, curiosity, and creativity. If you believe in holistic education beyond language accuracy, we encourage you to join our team.
Responsibilities include teaching English to Kindergarten to Grade 6 students, creating engaging classroom environments, using English as the primary language of instruction, and facilitating communication and creativity. Collaborating with the teaching team and following the provided curriculum are essential.
Qualifications required are a Bachelor’s degree or higher, teaching certificate preferred but not required, at least 1 year of teaching experience, and native English fluency. We prioritize applicants from English-speaking countries and those holding ARC/APRC in Taiwan.

However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.
