About the School:
Crane International School Myanmar (CISM) is an Accredited Cambridge International School, established in 1997. The school is currently searching for an experienced and dedicated Computer Science teacher to teach IGCSE Computer Science class and lead its STEM classes from Year 6 to 9. The new academic year will be commencing on the 12th of August.

Job Description:
1. Must have a solid knowledge of developing STEM and robotics curricula.
2. Create Arduino and Lego Spike based projects to give students deeper
understanding of components, circuits, signals, and how these work together.
3. Teach and create age-appropriate coding projects to foster the love for programming/coding
from a young age.
3. Must be able to teach Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (0478).
4. Help learners understand the principles of problem-solving in computer science, and find
solutions to problems using algorithms and a high-level programming language.
6. Keep track of individual pupil's progress and report to the Principal, HODs and
parents as required.
7. Establish an effective and respectful working relationship with colleagues, parents
and other stakeholders.
8. Must be willing to perform additional duties assigned by the school and attend staff
meeting and professional development training as necessary.
9. Follow school policies outlined in the employee handbook, including Child Safeguarding
and Health and Safety Policies.
10. Be willing to accompany students on field trips and school activities outside of
instructional day when needed.

Candidate Requirements:
1. A master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred. If not, at least, a
bachelor's degree with a relevant qualification is required.
2. Must have a minimum 3 years of teaching experience and having an experience in
teaching Cambridge A-Levels Computer Science will be an advantage.
3. Must have good organizational and time-management skills.
4. Non-native candidates must have a near-native commend of English, both in written and
spoken.
5. Must have recommendation letters from the last 2 schools you worked at.
6. Must arrive in Yangon before 5th of August.
