Satit RTU International School in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand, is urgently seeking a Native English Teacher to join its Cambridge Early Years Centre. This full-time position is due to an unexpected staffing emergency and will begin on June 1, 2026. The role offers a monthly salary of 45,000 THB with an additional housing allowance of 2,000 THB.
The school operates as an international institution affiliated with Ratchathani University, a private university in Ubon Ratchathani. It is located conveniently on the city’s ring road, opposite CentralPlaza Department Store. Ubon Ratchathani combines a relaxed atmosphere with modern amenities, including shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues, and is located about six hours by road or fifty minutes by plane from Bangkok.
The school seeks an enthusiastic and reliable Early Years educator who is passionate about teaching young learners. Candidates must be native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. A bachelor's degree and recent teaching experience in an Early Years educational setting are required. Familiarity with the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum is advantageous.
Benefits include a housing allowance, assistance with obtaining a work permit and Non-B visa, school holiday leave, a two-week home leave period, and health insurance. Additional teaching opportunities are available during weekends, compensated at 590 THB per hour.
The main responsibilities include leading an Early Years classroom with no more than 25 students, supported by two co-teachers. Teachers will follow the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum and participate in professional development activities. Optional after-school or weekend programs offer additional pay, covering subjects like Arts and Crafts, Music and Dance, Mandarin, and English.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with two consecutive days off each week. The school provides air-conditioned classrooms, whiteboards, and sound systems.
