Assumption College, a prestigious all-boys school located in the heart of Bangkok, is seeking a dedicated Native English Speaker (NES) to join our English Program for the secondary school level. Established in 1885, our institution has been inspiring academic excellence for generations.
Position: EP English Teacher for Secondary Grades 7–12 (M1–M6 | KS3–KS4)
Location: 26 Soi Charoenkrung 40, Bangrak, Bangkok, Thailand 10500
We are looking for a qualified candidate to start immediately, with the start date negotiable. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
Minimum Requirements:
- Native English Speaker from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, or USA
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject with an official transcript
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IELTS teaching
- At least one year of recent EFL teaching experience at the secondary level
- Understanding of Thai school cultural expectations for foreign teachers
- At least one verifiable professional reference, preferably from a direct supervisor
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, file-sharing platforms, interactive whiteboards, and Google for Education applications
- Experience with international exam preparation, such as SAT, is a plus
- Familiarity with English Programs in Thailand and the Thai curriculum
Candidates should be available to provide a live demo lesson in Bangkok.
