Private Elementary School in Seoul is looking to hire a Full-Time English Teacher directly. Located in Hoegi, Dongdaemun, this opportunity is posted by Seoul Sahmyook Elementary School. The school is offering a one-year contract from August 14th, 2026, to August 13th, 2027, with a mandatory 3-day orientation in August.
The job entails teaching English to students in grades 1-6, with a maximum of 24 teaching hours per week (40 minutes per class). The working hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, and until 3 pm on Fridays. Classes have a small size of 8-15 students.
Benefits for this position include a starting salary of 2,300,000-2,500,000 Won, medical insurance, severance pay equal to a monthly salary upon contract completion, almost 6 weeks of paid vacation, 500,000 Won allocated for rent, and the provision of your own classroom.
To be eligible, candidates must be native English speakers with a 4-year Bachelor's degree, teaching experience, and currently residing in Korea with specific visa types.
