2. School Background

We are a British owned school that opened in June 2022 with a unique, literature-based curriculum. Our warm, creative, and collaborative environment has led to exceptional growth, and in March 2024, we moved into purpose-built premises. Currently, we are at 80% capacity, with several classes on a waiting list.

3. Teaching & Learning Culture

Our school focuses on low-stress, creative English lessons that maintain academic rigor. We emphasize reading over memorization, projects over tests, and critical thinking over rote learning. We treat our students with warmth, care, and kindness, just as we would our own children.

4. Teaching Expectations

This is not a job where you’ll just “teach page 23.” Our high-quality materials are supplemented with projects, crafts, and presentations, and we expect teachers to be creative in lesson planning. We offer strong support, but we are seeking teachers who are passionate about their craft and take responsibility for their students' progress. Our curriculum is flexible and personalized, but we maintain high expectations for teaching quality.

5. Working Culture

Our academy is unique in Korea. Native English-speaking teachers are the lead instructors, without the use of co-teachers. The Korean center manager handles all parent communication, while teachers focus on teaching and providing progress reports. We maintain a warm and supportive environment, and we are looking for teachers who are easy-going, passionate, and excited to be part of a collaborative team. Flexibility is essential as we continue to grow.

We are committed to providing the highest quality education to our students and are steadily gaining a reputation as the leading literacy-based English academy in the region. As we expand, we are seeking teachers who can grow with us and contribute to our long-term vision.

6. Next Steps

If you are passionate about teaching and meet the criteria outlined above, we encourage you to apply. We are looking for the best fit for our team, and interviews will be conducted via video for candidates outside Korea or in-person for those already in the country (we cover interview-related expenses).

You will also have the chance to speak directly with one of our current teachers to learn more about the role and our academy’s unique culture.
