Job Description:
Konkuk University GLOCAL Campus is looking for a full-time (non-tenure track) Assistant Professor to join the Department of English Language and Culture in Chungju, South Korea, which is 1.5 hours south of Seoul.
The ideal candidate should be a native English speaker from countries like the USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, or the UK. They should hold a Master’s degree in English Linguistics or a related field, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English at the university level.
The position is for a two-year (renewable) contract, starting from March 1st, 2027, to February 29, 2029. The Assistant Professor will teach courses such as English Communication Skills, Business English, and Intercultural Communication. Duties also include advising students, curriculum development, and publishing KCI indexed journals.
