The Corporate English Teacher is responsible for developing and delivering dynamic English language curriculum tailored to the needs of employees within the Amphenol Shenzhen Manufacturing Facility. The incumbent will design engaging learning content with a view to improving the English language proficiency of our corporate and factory employees, enabling them to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers globally.

Innovative- Seeks out and designs new approaches to language teaching, moving beyond traditional methods. New approaches may include gamification, problem solving, case studies etc. 

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT & INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN 

Design and develop comprehensive and engaging English language programs that meet the specific needs of salaried and DL employees 

Conduct needs assessments in order to ascertain the language requirements of employees in various roles and identify common situations they face and design curriculum accordingly. 

Develop learning modules and content relevant to learning needs that incorporate relevant vocabulary, phrases, industry specific terminology and scenarios that they will likely encounter in their work environment 
 

Integrate practical application into curriculum I.e. role-playing exercises, projects and real-time feedback activities that simulate work scenarios in order to assist learners in applying the curriculum to their jobs. 

PERFORMANCE FEEDBACK AND MONITORING 

•    Implement formal (tests, oral presentations etc.) and informal (notes, impromptu speaking) assessment methods to measure language proficiency and comprehension.  
•    Analyze assessment results in order to identify trends, common areas of difficulty and individual learner needs and adjust future lessons accordingly. 
•    Develop individual learning plans based on assessment result 

 
 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Minimum 3 years experience teaching ESL in classroom or corporate settings with diverse learners 

Native level English proficiency 

University degree in Education, English, linguistics or related field 

Experience in developing and adapting the curriculum to meet learner needs 

International experience- teaching abroad or in multicultural context preferred 

Proficiency in Mandarin is an asset (not required). 

Strong interpersonal skills.
