COME TO THE CITY OF ULSAN! Korea’s 7th largest city - a city with a perfect mix of cityscapes, mountains, beaches and nature. Only a short 45-minute train ride to Busan and 20-minute train ride to Korea’s ancient capital, Gyeongju.
Join our group of English teachers in the city of Ulsan, South Korea at Union English Academy! We are looking for a teacher who is BRIGHT AND POSITIVE, with a strong sense of responsibility to work at our English school.
The most important things are to have a cheerful personality and skills to get along well with children.

STARTING DATE - Feb, 24th
CONTRACT PERIOD – One year, with option to renew.
WORKING HOURS – It will be from 2:00-7:30 pm, from Monday to Friday. You will teach five 50-minute classes and will have two 20-minute breaks per day, in addition to 30 minutes of prep time from 2:00-2:30 pm daily.
Our working hours are genrally less than other English academies, so payment can be lower that you think, but I am sure that I don't ask you to work longer. If teachers need to work more than normal working hours, extra payment will be paid.
PAYMENT – from 2.0~2.5 million won (it is based on 5 hours a day for a month.
STUDENTS - Elementary school and middle school, with a maximum class size of only 9 students!
QUALIFICATIONS - Must have a bachelor's degree and come from the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, NZ or Australia.
ACCOMMODATION – We will provide you with a furnished three-bedroom apartment with a full living space, kitchen and balcony.
HOLIDAYS - One full week in the summer, one full week in the winter, in addition to all Korean National Holidays.
FLIGHT - One-way ticket provided upon completion of contract.
MEDICAL INSURANCE - Employer pays 50% of your medical insurance.
PENSION - Employer pays 50% of your pension, which you will receive upon departing Korea.
TAX – it will be deducted according to Korea tax policy.
