We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join Myongji Elementary School, a prestigious private elementary school located in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Position Details:
- School Type: Private Elementary School
- Location: Seodaemun-gu, Seoul
- Contract Period: March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027 (with the possibility of annual renewal)
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Salary: Starting from 2.5 million KRW per month (based on qualifications and experience)
- Additional after-school program teaching fees range from 400,000 to 1,200,000 KRW.
- Accommodation: A housing allowance of 500,000 KRW will be provided.
Requirements:
- Native English Speaker (Citizen or Permanent Resident of the USA, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or Canada)
- Must have resided in one of the aforementioned countries for at least 10 years since the 7th grade, attending middle or high school, with documentation to prove the educational background.
- Fluent in English with correct pronunciation and standard usage.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Preferred qualifications include TESOL Certification, and a Master’s degree in Linguistics or Education.
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Visa eligibility: E2, F2, F4, F6
Benefits:
- Severance pay equivalent to one month's salary after completing a one-year contract.
- Possible holiday pay for Chuseok and Seollal, within budget limits.
- One-way flight ticket provided upon contract expiration when returning to the home country.
- Private insurance, national pension, and housing allowance of 500,000 KRW are provided.
