Soonchunhyang University in Asan, Korea is seeking a Full-time English professor.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree + 2 years of teaching experience at university or public schools, with a high proficiency in English.
- For those completing a Master’s in a year or less, a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required.
- Preferably, a degree in Education, English, or TESOL, CELTA, TEFL certificate.
Period of Employment: September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027.
Preference for F-visa or E-1/E-2 visa holders currently in Korea.
Main Responsibilities:
- 15 contact hours per week, with paid overtime for additional hours.
- Teaching University Classes and operating English Camps.
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic starting salary of 2,444,000 KRW per month with MA.
- Overtime opportunities at 33,000 KRW per hour.
- Minimum 10 weeks paid vacation, medical insurance, and Korea Teachers Pension.
- Furnished one room apartment or housing stipend of 350,000 KRW per month.
- Travel allowance of 1,000,000 KRW at the end of the contract.
- Special discounts at Soonchunhyang University Hospital.
