Job Description:

Native English-Speaking Teachers Needed at Asan Public School

Located in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, a teaching opportunity awaits at Yeon-hwa Elementary School. This role is for a Native English Teacher to join the English Program commencing on August 20th, 2026. The position is available for one year to cover Parental Leave Replacement, supported by Asan City Hall and managed by Sun Moon University.

Employment Details:

- Position: Native English Teacher (Co-teaching at the Elementary level)

- Employer: Superintendent, Asan Office of Education

- Contract Period: From the date of the agreement execution to February 28, 2027, with possible renewal based on evaluation

- Duty Hours: 7 hours per day, teaching 20 hours per week during the academic semester. Overtime paid at 25,000 KRW per hour.

- Salary: 2.3 million KRW - 2.4 million KRW per month, varying by degree

- Benefits: 9 weeks of paid vacation, housing support of 350,000 KRW monthly, national pension, health and worker's compensation insurance, severance pay, transportation allowance, and a travel allowance

Qualifications:

- Native English Speakers

- Relevant Bachelor's degree with a related teaching certificate (TESOL, CELTA, etc., over 100 hrs.), minimum 1 year full-time English teaching experience in Korea, and possession of E-2 visa

- Available Visa Status: E2, F2, F4, F5, F6
