Job Description:
Cornell Bilingual School is seeking a Native English Teacher for the upcoming academic year 2024/2025. Located in Taoyuan, just a 10-minute drive from the main station, our school caters to students from kindergarten to junior high school.
Established over twenty-five years ago, Cornell Bilingual School boasts a vibrant campus with modern facilities, including spacious classrooms equipped with interactive boards, projectors, and computers.
We are currently hiring full-time elementary school teachers for grades 1-6, responsible for teaching language arts and science. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about education.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 16:40, with a half-day paid leave per week.
- Maximum of 26 class periods per week, each lasting 40 minutes.
- Responsibilities include teaching, lesson planning, exam paper creation, science quizzes, and participation in school activities as needed.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $65,000 (Base Salary) + $3,000 (Attendance Bonus) per month, with yearly increments.
- Sponsored ARC and National Health Insurance.
- Paid public holidays, winter/summer vacation days.
Qualifications:
- Residing in Taiwan.
- Native English speaker.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Preferably holding a valid teaching license, TESOL, or TEFL certificates.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
