Shaoguan University was founded in 1958. It has a rich history as the regional education center. The main campus covers an area of 1.67 million square meters, with an elegant environment, green parkland and rolling hills, flora displays, award-winning architecture and convenient modern living facilities. There are 29509 full-time students and 15495 students in the adult continuing education department. It has established international ties and co-operation relationships with nearly 18 universities from Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom, and Australia, the United States, Malaysia and more. Each year the university attracts international students from various countries and offers much fought after scholarship.
Position Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic, native English-speaking teachers to join our team. You will lead engaging English classes, design interactive learning activities, and help our students improve their English proficiency in a fun, immersive environment.
Ⅰ. Key Responsibilities:
1.Deliver 12-16 interactive English classes per week (45minutes per class) for University students.
2.Prepare lesson plans based on our curriculum framework.
3.Track students' learning progress .
4.Participate in school events such as English corners, holiday parties and cultural sharing activities
5.Collaborate with Chinese co-teachers to optimize teaching effects
Ⅱ. Requirements
Native English speaker;
Master's degree or above in any major;
No criminal record, in good physical health, under 58 years old;
Prior teaching experience (especially with university students) is a strong plus;
Friendly, patient, and passionate about cross-cultural communication.
Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary: above RMB 9500Yuan (Based on qualifications and experience)
2. Air fare: RMB 6500Yuan /year, Travel allowance: RMB 2000Yuan/year (upon contract completion)
3. Holidays:
1)Paid Winter vacation & Summer holiday
2)Paid national holidays
4. Free fully-furnished apartment on campus (The apartment is a quiet area of 94 square meters, equipped with an elevator and no curfew hours.)
5. Statutory social insurance will be provided in accordance with the official regulations.
