Job Description:

Welcome to GCIS!

Located in the Dongtan Area of Gyeonggi-Do, South Korea, GCIS is seeking a Primary Homeroom Teacher to join our team. At GCIS, we believe in the importance of early childhood education in shaping a child's future.

Our Primary program aims to cultivate curiosity, confidence, and creativity in a nurturing and joyful environment. Through a holistic approach that includes play-based, inquiry-based, and project-based learning, students develop strong academic skills and essential character traits such as respect, empathy, and global awareness.

Position Details:

- Employment Type: Full-time

- Working Hours: 07:40–16:40

- Location: Dongtan (Hwaseong)

- Start Date: ASAP/September 2026

- Teaching Hours: Maximum of 26 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits:

- Elementary Salary: 3.0 KRW and up (negotiable based on education and experience)

- Vacation: 6 weeks (distributed throughout the year) + 2 paid sick days

- Housing: provided or housing allowance of 500,000 KRW

Qualifications & Requirements:

- E-2 or F-series visa holder (E-2 visa sponsorship available)

- Teacher license required

- Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3–4 years)

- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience

- Strong classroom management and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement curriculum aligned with GCIS academic standards

- Provide feedback on student progress and assignments

- Design assessments and projects to support student growth

- Communicate with parents regarding student development

- Attend school events and conferences
