Job Description:
Are you a native English speaker who enjoys teaching kids in Taiwan? Hankel International Academy of Primary Education is seeking a full-time homeroom teacher for the 2025 school year. Our aim is to create an engaging learning environment where students actively participate in the learning process.
As a teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to foster a student-centered and activity-based classroom. Our competitive salary ranges from 68,000 to 85,000 NT per month and includes bonuses and benefits such as performance bonuses, attendance bonuses, completion bonus, re-signing bonus, yearly increase based on performance, and national health insurance.
We provide well-organized teaching materials, support from academic mentors and IT technicians, assistance with ARC and work permit if needed, reliable pay, good job security, training, and small class sizes of no more than 20 students to ensure quality education.
To be considered for this role, you must be a native English speaker with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English, math, or science. You should possess patience, energy, and creative communication skills. The ability to teach Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science to students in Grades 1-6 is essential.
Key responsibilities include organizing classroom lessons, preparing materials and activities, assigning homework, recommending books, creating individualized reading plans for students with special requirements, providing feedback, managing classroom crises, communicating with parents about student performance, and collaborating with colleagues and administrators to enhance the student experience.
