HUFS Summer English Camp Teachers Recruiting in Seoul

Are you a native English speaker from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand? Do you hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a recognized teaching certificate? Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is looking for you!
We are currently recruiting English-speaking instructors for the 2026 HUFS Summer English Camp. If you have at least two years of full-time English teaching experience in Korea and hold one of the eligible visa types (E-2, F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6), we invite you to apply.
If you are interested, please submit the following documents:
1. Resume with Cover Letter
2. Copy of passport (information page)
3. Copy of Alien Registration Card (front & back)
4. Copy of degree certificate
5. (Optional) Copy of teaching certificate (TESOL, TEFL, TESL, etc.)
To apply, all applicants must complete and submit the Google Form provided. Combine all required documents into a single PDF file and upload it through the form. If any issues arise with the form, you can email the PDF file to hufsbusiness@hufs.ac.kr.
β Working Conditions:
- When: July 27 (Mon) β August 7 (Fri), 2026 (No classes on August 1β2, SatβSun)
- Working Hours:
A: Elementary Teacher: 09:30 β 12:00 (Actual class hours: 10:00 β 12:00)
B: Middle School Teacher
- Class 1: 08:30 β 12:00 (Actual class hours: 09:00 β 12:00)
- Class 2: 09:30 β 13:00 (Actual class hours: 10:00 β 13:00)
- Payment:
A: Elementary Teacher - 1,300,000 KRW (pre-tax)
B: Middle School Teacher - 1,800,000 KRW (pre-tax)
- Location:
Various Youth Centers in Seoul
- Other Information:
A. Applicants must specify their preferred work locations during the application.
B. Attendance at the orientation on July 22 (at HUFS Seoul Campus) is mandatory.
C. On August 7th, instructors must attend the graduation ceremony at HUFS.
D. Elementary students are in grades 4β6, with 10β12 students per class.

π You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.
β³ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
