*Recruiting for the Academic Year of 2025 (March, 2025)*

1. Job and Background Description

   J Lee Preparatory (J Lee Prep) is currently looking for experienced, energetic, and dedicated teachers to teach one of our 5, 6, or 7-year-old Kindergarten classes. We currently have 3 branches located in Jeongja, Suji, and Dongtan that are filled with young minds with great potential for growth. You would work with around 10 dedicated native teachers in a professional environment. We strive to give our teachers help with their professional development as well as a warm atmosphere to let them feel involved, accepted, and appreciated.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

   We are currently looking for experienced, high-energy, and passionate teachers to teach one class of 10~12 children. A curriculum is provided, but you may use supplementary materials to complement the lessons. You will also need to readily communicate and prepare activities with a Korean co-teacher.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare, plan, and instruct lessons based on a pre-made curriculum

• Grade daily and weekly homework assignments and writing

• Keep record of and report students’ performance and give feedback

• Educate and instruct Kindergarten students through speaking and writing, reading, grammar, and book discussion classes

3. Locations

   A teacher will teach at one of the branches below.

Jeongja Campus – 성남시 분당구 정자일로 121 더샵스타파크

10-minute walk from Jeongja Station

Suji Campus – 용인시 수지구 성복1로 189

10-minute bus ride from Seongbok Station

Dongtan Campus – 화성시 동탄대로 587 재원프라자

5-minute bus ride from Dongtan Station (GTX line opened as of 2024)

3. Working Conditions

• Start Date: March 1, 2025 / Training late-February

• Student Type: Kindergarten

• Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided

• Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 0900~1630

• Teaching Hours: Monday through Friday, 0930~1415

• Class Size: Up to 12 students per class

• Teacher Training: Provided

4. Compensation

• Salary: 2,500,000KRW~2,800,000KRW based on relevant experience and credentials.

• Extra Teaching: 350,000 KRW for afterschool classes or 800,000 KRW for an elementary class, when available.

• Benefits: Severance and 4 National Insurances (Pension, Health Insurance, Employment Insurance, and Occupational Safety and Health Insurance)

• Vacation: All National Holidays + 12 workdays paid vacation

• Housing: Housing Provided (or Allowance of 650,000KRW)
