Windfield International School, located in Koh Samui, Surat Thani, Thailand, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our international team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inspiring students to lead active, healthy lifestyles while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence through dynamic physical education lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons that align with the school curriculum.
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles in a safe and inclusive environment.
- Teach various sports, games, and physical activities suitable for different age groups and abilities.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize and support school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure the safe use and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities.
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification or teaching license.
- Previous experience in teaching Physical Education, preferably within an international or British curriculum.
- Strong classroom and behavior management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for promoting health, fitness, and student well-being.
