Position and Compensation: Sacred Heart High School for Girls is looking to hire a part-time foreign English teacher to teach grades 7-11, covering topics such as conversation, public speaking, current issues, and writing. The contract begins on February 24, 2026, with up to 14 teaching hours per week spread over a maximum of 3 teaching days.
Compensation includes NT$800 per teaching hour and a transportation allowance ranging from NT$900 to NT$2,700 per month based on the number of teaching days per week.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Hold a passport from an English-speaking country.
2. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher, with diplomas requiring a certified Chinese translation authenticated by a Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO).
3. Have a valid teaching certificate, an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) (spouse of a Taiwanese citizen), or an Alien Permanent Resident Certificate (APRC).
4. Provide a Police Criminal Record Certificate issued within the last six months.
5. Teaching experience is preferred.
6. Exhibit strong communication skills, collaborative ability, a readiness to adapt to Taiwanese culture, adherence to school regulations, and compliance with local laws.
