Hello, My name is Trevor and I am the co-owner and head teacher at Ron English (My other academy is called Toronto English). I am looking to hire an individual who has teaching experience in Korea and enjoys working with elementary aged kids. We are looking to add more teachers to our growing team of 5 Native English teachers as our school expands and student numbers grow. My school’s philosophy is “Happy, Simple, English” and we strive to make our students feel safe and comfortable in our classrooms. Our goal is to provide young learners with a fun, stress free, English environment that fosters a long term interest in English learning. Here is a link to our page if you are interested in learning a bit more about us and where we are located. https://ronenglish.modoo.at/
We value good teachers who like to work both in an autonomous capacity as well as a collaborative environment, sharing ideas and best practices to help each other grow and improve. The curriculum is all prepared and in place. Teachers do not have to create new worksheets and curriculum. Instead they focus their prep time on how they will teach lessons, such as planning fun and interactive ways to teach, finding positive ways to help their students progress or preparing supplementary materials for the curriculum as they see fit.
Students attend classes 5 days a week. We cap class sizes at 8 students per class. Monday to Thursday lessons are taught and Friday is a fun activity day. On activity days, students participate in an activity planned by us teachers that is related to weekly themes.

My wife and I run two after school English language academies. Our newest location, and the location we are hiring for, is in the new city of Geomdan. Our original academy is located in Yeongjong-do. Both are located in lncheon. Our Geomdan academy is located in a new city, which is rapidly growing and expanding. Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.
You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.
Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
