二、Job Overview
As an Economics Foreign Teacher in the Bilingual Integration Department, you will be responsible for teaching Economics or Business-related courses at the IGCSE and A-Level stages. Through high-quality English-only instruction, you will help students master core economic knowledge, develop critical thinking and an international perspective, and lay a solid foundation for students to gain admission to top overseas universities. You will work closely with the Chinese teaching team to jointly develop the curriculum system, design teaching activities, participate in student academic guidance and campus culture construction.
三、Core Responsibilities
According to the requirements of IGCSE and A-Level syllabi, independently complete the full teaching process including curriculum design, lesson preparation, teaching, homework correction, exam question setting and marking, ensuring teaching quality meets international curriculum standards.
Participate in the construction of the Economics curriculum system, optimize teaching content, design teaching activities, develop teaching resources combining the characteristics of Chinese students and international education needs, and continuously improve the interest and practicality of the courses.
Provide academic and further study guidance to students, including homework tutoring, learning method advice, university application major consultation, etc., pay attention to students' learning progress and mental health, and help students solve problems in study and life.
Regularly assess students' learning progress, write student learning reports, maintain good communication with parents, and provide timely feedback on students' learning status and growth performance.
Participate in various academic activities, campus cultural activities and international exchange activities organized by the school, such as economics competition guidance, academic lectures, cultural festivals, etc., to create a diversified campus learning atmosphere.
四、Qualifications
1. Basic Requirements
Native English speaker from English-speaking countries (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.), holding a valid work visa or meeting the application conditions for foreign teacher work permits in China.
Bachelor's degree or above, with a background in Business, Economics, Finance or other related majors.
Holding an international teacher qualification certificate (such as TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, etc.) or relevant national teacher qualification certificate is preferred.
No criminal record, good conduct, passionate about education, and identify with the school's educational philosophy.
2. Experience Requirements
At least 2 years of teaching experience in IGCSE or A-Level Economics or Business-related subjects, familiar with the international curriculum system and examination requirements.
Experience in teaching Chinese students is preferred, and understanding of the learning characteristics and needs of Chinese students.
Experience in guiding economics competitions (such as NEC, IEO, etc.) is preferred.
3. Competency Requirements
Excellent English communication skills, standard pronunciation, and ability to teach entirely in English
Familiar with modern educational technology, and able to flexibly use various teaching methods and tools to improve teaching effectiveness.
Good communication skills and team spirit, able to communicate effectively with Chinese and foreign teachers, students and parents.
Strong sense of responsibility and patience, care for students, and able to teach according to students' aptitude.
