Job Description:

Kyungpook National University is seeking a Full-time Visiting Professor for the Center for General Education at its Sangju Campus in South Korea.

Program Details:

The English Program at KNU emphasizes speaking skills while also fostering proficiency in all language abilities. Courses offered include Essential English 1, Essential English 2, Business English, and Discussions in English.

Requirements:

- Native English speakers

- M.A. or Ph.D. in English fields or Education

- Under 65 years old by September 1st, 2026

- Minimum 2 years of university-level teaching experience

Responsibilities:

- Teaching 18 hours per week during semesters

- Compensating for unfulfilled teaching hours

- Teaching 60 to 80 hours in Winter/Summer sessions

- Availability from 9 am to 6 pm

Contract and Benefits:

- 1-year contract from September 1st, 2026, to August 31st, 2027

- Salary ranges from 3,271,000 to 3,414,000 KRW per month

- Benefits include health insurance, pension plan, severance pay, housing options, and paid vacation
