Job Description:

Hanyang University is looking for a Content Developer & Classroom Operations Support for their first-year Mathematics and Data Science courses. The position is based in Seoul, South Korea, and is contract-based. Applicants must be residing in South Korea and hold either Korean nationality, an F-type visa, or an existing E-1 visa. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. The salary is negotiable.

As a Content Developer, your responsibilities will include developing interactive course materials in Calculus, Probability, and Data Science with Python or R. You will create student-centered learning activities, integrate computational thinking and statistical reasoning into lesson materials, and collaborate with faculty to align materials with learning objectives. Additionally, you will support classroom operations by coordinating scheduling, classroom logistics, and communication, as well as monitoring classroom dynamics and implementing engagement strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of university-level experience in teaching or developing materials in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Computer Science. Proficiency in Python or R, along with a deep understanding of active learning and inquiry-based instruction, is required. Strong administrative, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.

Preferred skills include experience with blended or hybrid learning, familiarity with educational technology tools and learning management systems, and the ability to create and align assessments with problem-solving and coding-based learning goals.
