P.O.I English Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Native English Teacher to join our team in Ulsan, South Korea. We are a well-established private academy committed to providing quality education since 2006. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, embraces creativity in the classroom, and enjoys working with young learners.
You will be teaching small classes of 5โ10 students, aged 8 to 16, focusing on communication, creativity, and critical thinking. Our school values discussion, debate, and personal expression in English.

You will be provided with a spacious, fully furnished apartment near Ulsan Grand Park and Taehwagang National Garden. Position: Full-Time Native English Teacher
Start Date: June 4th, 2025
Location: Ok-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea
Contract Length: 1 year (renewable)
Working Hours:
Mon/Wed/Fri: 2:00โ9:40 PM
Tue/Thu: 2:00โ8:00 PM
Main Duties:
- Teach English to elementary and middle school students
- Develop curriculum and supplemental teaching materials
๐ฐ Salary & Benefits
Monthly Salary: 2.2 โ 2.4 million KRW (negotiable)
Completion Bonus: 1-month salary after one year
Airfare: One-way ticket provided for overseas hires
Paid Vacation: 10 days + all national holidays (14โ15/year)
Health Insurance: 50% paid by the school
Visa Sponsorship: Yes

- Bachelor's degree (required)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Teaching experience, TESOL certification, or a degree in Education preferred
- Experience with debate or public speaking is a plus
- Must be enthusiastic, patient, and genuinely care about studentsโ growth
