Native English Teacher Position in South Korea at Daejeon Sahmyook Elementary School!

Located in Daejeon Metropolitan City, Daejeon Sahmyook Elementary School is currently looking for a dedicated Native English Speaking Teacher to be a part of their team.

📌 Position Details:

- Position Available: 1

- Contract Period: August 14, 2025 – February 14, 2027 (18-month contract)

- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

- Teaching Hours: 24 teaching hours/week (each class is 40 minutes)

- Students: Elementary school students (Grades 1–6)

- Salary: KRW 2.8M – 3.0M/month (includes KRW 400,000 monthly housing allowance)

- Overtime Pay: KRW 20,000 per extra class hour during the semester (not applicable during seasonal camps)

🎁 Benefits:

- Paid Vacation: 5 weeks total during school breaks

- Paid Sick Leave: 10 days

- Unpaid Sick Leave: 10 days

- Special Leave: Provided as per Korean Labor Standards Act

- Severance Pay: Paid yearly

- National Insurance Coverage: 50% of four major insurances

✅ Qualifications:

- Must be a native English speaker

- Must be eligible to obtain an E-2 or F-series visa

- Must hold a bachelor’s degree

- Must submit an apostilled criminal background check

- Experience working with young children

- Bachelor’s degree in Education or TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification

🧪 Interview & Demo Lesson:

All interviews conducted via Zoom. Candidates must submit a demo lesson video or conduct a live teaching demonstration.
