✨ Join Our Team of Passionate Educators at META English Academy in Gangnam, a leading English institute focusing on gifted education and whole-child development.
We are seeking teachers for the position of Homeroom Teacher (Full-time) for Kindergarten (Age 7) to Grade 2 students.
Location: META English Academy, Daechi-dong, Gangnam, Seoul.
Contract Period: ASAP
Work Type: 9 to 6
Visa Types Accepted: F4, E2
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach immersive English lessons for kindergarten and lower elementary students
- Plan and execute weekly and monthly lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals
- Prepare and submit daily logs and academic reports (monthly)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Education, Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or Child Psychology preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with kindergarten or lower elementary students
- Experience in gifted education or inquiry/project-based learning preferred
- Strong understanding of child development (emotional, social, cognitive)
- Valid passport from the U.S.A., Canada, or the U.K.
- Clean national criminal background check with apostille (issued within 6 months)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and classroom management skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: ₩2,800,000 – ₩3,000,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
- Housing Allowance: ₩600,000 per month
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- Vacation: 2 paid weeks (1 in summer, 1 in winter), all Korean national holidays off
- 4 major insurances and severance pay
- Regular teacher workshops, professional development programs, annual performance evaluation, and incentives
