Job Description:

YES English in Daegu would like you to Join our team.
Benefits:
Salary - 2.4 – 2.8 Mil won
Vacation – 15 days paid vacation, plus all Korean national holidays
Bonus for contract completion: 1 Mil won
Housing - one room studio apartment (10-15 mins walk to the academy, major shopping mall and public transport), or housing allowance
Insurance contribution, pension, severance pay, etc in accordance with Korean labor law.
E2 Visa Sponsorship possible
The Job:
Hours - 1.30 to 9pm.
Teaching time - average of 5 teaching hours, with maximum of 6 teaching hours each day (1 teaching hour = 50 mins)
Students - elementary and middle school
Classes: - Primarily speaking focused and / or four skills, with periodic preparation for Cambridge tests.
Start date – March 1st, (earlier start dates possible)
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate their ability to interact with and care for young learners and teens. They would be able to show how they can help students learn in an enjoyable way. And they would be flexible. Knowledge of teaching principles and language systems, as well as familiarity with the Cambridge range of tests would be highly desirable.
The Academy:
Yes English is owned and operated by an Australian husband and Korean wife. Currently there are 8 staff with a mix of Korean and foreign teachers. The school is located in DaeCheon-dong, Dalseo-gu, in a bright, new, fully renovated building.
