Journeys Within Our Community Organization is a non-profit founded in 2005, aiming to empower Cambodian low-income youth through education and sustainable development. We are seeking an experienced English Teacher dedicated to youth development and equipping younger generations with English language skills for the future.
Position: English Instructor
Location: Siem Reap city, Siemreap Province
Type: Full-time
Salary: $350 per month

Responsibilities:
- Conduct English classes at the JWOC learning center for youth in various programs
- Provide support to slow learners and create an engaging learning atmosphere
- Prepare teaching plans and materials aligned with the JWOC curriculum
- Assist in organizing special events and exchange activities
- Track and report students' progress to the line manager
- Foster relationships with students to create a friendly learning environment
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of the JWOC curriculum for basic education
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or TESOL
- Minimum 3 years of English teaching experience, including volunteer work; familiarity with American textbooks preferred
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills
- Experience in coordinating learning events outside the curriculum
- Proficiency in English and basic knowledge of technology
- Detail-oriented with good record-keeping abilities
- Friendly, confident, and able to work effectively in a team environment
