Are you looking for a rewarding teaching position? American Eagle Schools at Taichung, Fengyuan Ruisui School, has exciting part-time and full-time openings for dedicated and welcoming teachers. First-time teachers are encouraged to apply!
We prefer native speakers from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Our school offers a well-structured curriculum with all teaching materials provided. Classes are small, ranging from 6 to 12 students, and each teacher has their own classroom.
You will have the opportunity to work with the same group of students daily, eliminating the need to rush between different classes every hour. You'll be supported by English-speaking and helpful Chinese staff. We provide ARC, work permits, National Health Insurance, Labor Insurance, and paid holidays.
We also assist teachers with work permit applications and help in finding accommodation near the school. The starting hourly rate is between 650-700 NTD, based on experience, with 17.5 to 25 teaching hours per week. The schedule offers block hours:
Class 1: 2:00-4:30 pm (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri)
Class 2: 4:40-6:10 pm (Mon-Fri)
Class 3: 6:30-8:00 pm or 6:30-8:30 pm (discussable)
We are also seeking teachers for the 4:40-6:10 or 4:50-6:20 slots, Monday to Friday. If you have a full-time job ending early and are looking for additional hours while keeping your evenings free, this could be a perfect fit for you. Our school has 13 foreign teachers and 20 Chinese staff across three locations.
