Uncle Sam American School is seeking qualified English teachers from English-speaking countries such as the U.S.A., England, Australia, and South Africa who meet the requirements set by Taiwanese immigration rules. The position is based in Taipei, Taiwan, specifically near the Jiangzicui MRT stop, a mere 20-second walk from Exit 5.
The role commences on June 1st, 2026. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, focusing on kindergarten classes. Morning sessions run from 9 am to 12 pm, with a 10-20 minute break between classes. Lunch is from 12 pm to 1:30 pm, during which lunch is provided by the school, but teachers have the option to eat outside. Afternoon classes are held from 2 pm to 4 pm, with a 10-minute break between classes. Additional activities for students include Art, S.T.E.A.M., P.E., Storytime, and occasional outings once every month or two.
