Job Description:

King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang International Demonstration School (KMIDS) in Bangkok is seeking an English Teacher for secondary education. KMIDS is a WASC-accredited institution specializing in science, technology, mathematics, and design, and is located in Ladkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand. We are looking to hire professional educators who are English-speaking, collaborative, and forward-thinking to join our team.

All subjects, except for Thai and Chinese languages, are taught in English. The school offers a competitive benefits package and dedicated collaborative planning time as part of our mission to cultivate Thailand’s “Masters of Innovation.” Due to our increasing student enrollment, we anticipate the need for an additional middle/high school English teacher for the 2025–2026 academic year and beyond.

Ideal candidates should:
- Demonstrate the ability to engage and inspire students through effective and creative learning activities.
- Have solid experience in teaching English/ELA within the American curriculum or similar frameworks.
- Possess experience in teaching AP English courses, such as AP English Literature and/or AP English Language.
- Be flexible in teaching a range of English courses across grade levels, including literature, writing, Honors, and AP.
- Have international teaching experience.
- Hold a degree in English, Literature, or a related field, with teaching certification/licensure in their home country being highly desirable.
