Position : A-Level Literature Teacher
Location :Beijing
School type : International department of Public High School (top high school in Beijing)
Start Date : October 2024 (ASAP)
Job Requirements:
➢Foreigners whose native language is English ;
➢At least Bachelor's degree in English/Linguistic/Literature major related;
➢Teacher Qualification Certificate will be preferred;
Salary Package :
➢ Salary range is 30,000-33,000rmb pre tax,
➢ Housing allowance :3500rmb pre tax per month
➢ 12 months contract, fully paid summer and winter holidays , around 3 months holiday together per academic year.
➢ medical insurance will be provided.
➢ one round-trip ticket ( economy class) each school year reimbursement at the end of the contract ➢ dining subsidies, A computer with internet service, regular holidays, etc.
➢ Free gyms and swimming pool.
Working Experience :
➢Being familiar with above subjects in A-level and IGCSE or IB curriculum, having at least two years of teaching experience in high schools
➢Being familiar with the course guide of A-Level subjects,being familiar with the content of IG and A-Level examinations, following the latest news for IG/A-Level examinations,being able to accurately grasp the trend of A-Level global examinations, and having at least two years of teaching experience in international high schools will be preferred ;
➢Candidates who have powerful competence in teaching and researching worked as a high school subject leader, can easily get along with others and collaborate in teams, and have experiences in student management are preferred.
Overall Responsibilities:
➢Teachers teach a mixed ability of A-Level and IGCSE classes consisting of approximately 15 learners. For all of these learners, English is a second language.
➢Teach up to an average of 18-20 academic lessons per week, in accordance with departmental,each period is 45mins.
