Job Description

ESL teachers are responsible for 1 Morning Kindy class of Korean 5-7 year olds from 9:30-14:50 each day with an hour lunch break. Morning kindy class is comprised of 6 classes (35-40 mins each) and homeroom teachers will teach 5 classes for 4 day and 6 class for 1 day a week during the morning kindy time (Re one day of 6 classess, half of the day will be a weekly event day. And, students will take 1 subject class each day taught by subject teachers for other 4 days.)

Based on the Morning Kindy class

Type A teachers will teach elemantary students from 15:50-17:50 on Mon/Wed/Fri - Each day comprised of 3 classes (35 mins each).

Type B teachers will teach elementary students from 15:50-18:20 on T/Th only. These teachers will leave an hour early on Wednesdays.

Type C teachers will teach elementary students from 15:50-17:50 on MWF and from 15:50-18:20 on TTh.

Planning time is available from 8:50-9:30 and 14:50-15:50 everyday, plus 15:50-17:50 on the days you don't have Elementary teaching hours in addition to 40 mins of subject classes for 4 days during the morning kindy time.

Working Conditions and Benefits

- Salary

* For Type A & B : Salary starting from KRW 3,300,000 per month incl. housing allowance (KRW 600,000 per month) / starting from 2.7 mil with housing

* For Type C : Salary starting from KRW 3,900,000 per month incl. housing allowance (KRW 600,000 per month) / starting from 3.3 mil with housing

 : Type C position is only open for ESL teachers with over 5 years of Kindy/ELE teaching experience in Korea.

Vacations and Leaves

- 11 days of vacations based on academic calendar + 2 days of paid sick leaves for the 1st year in school (15 days of paid leaves for resigning the contract.)

- All national holidays off (paid leaves)

Requirements

- Love for kids, great communication skills, flexible mind, punctuality and self-disciplined

- Native English speakers (applicable for E2 visa. Or, F6 visa holders)

- Minimum 2 year of teaching experience (Or, certified teachers from the home country)

- Preferebly residing in Korea at the moment
