The Knowledge Language Center in Bangkok is looking for Full-time English Teachers
We are seeking experienced language tutors to join our English department. The teacher will be teaching groups of adult learners at our language center or at the offices of our corporate clients around Bangkok. Outside of teaching hours, the teacher will be involved in a variety of curriculum development projects.
Our school is conveniently located in the heart of Bangkok, just a few minutes’ walk away from Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. We offer a well-resourced teaching environment with a ready-made English syllabus that is easy to teach and delivers great results for our students.
This position is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about education and dedicated to career development. We are a dynamic and growing company and seek teachers who are eager to take advantage of our resources to develop their teaching skills.
The applicant must be TEFL qualified (having completed at least a 120-hour course) and capable of delivering a valuable and highly engaging educational experience during lessons. You will be familiar with a range of teaching methodologies, capable of preparing effective lesson plans, and knowledgeable of a variety of educational resources. Being a good conversationalist that can help their students feel confident and at ease is essential, as students are often nervous when learning a new language.
To apply for this position, please send us a copy of your resume (including relevant references) and a recent photograph. For the interview, we will ask you to complete our application form, prepare a lesson plan, and demonstrate your teaching style in a mock-lesson, while rationalizing the methodologies you would use to approach the learning. We look forward to working with you soon!
REQUIREMENTS:
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Education or a related field.
• At least a 120-hour TEFL certificate, preferably the Cambridge CELTA or Trinity College cert-TESOL (or above).

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
