Position: Elementary Teacher
Location: Taichung, Taiwan
Salary: NT$69,000+ per month
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Mornings & Afternoons to 5pm

Established in 2004, FHBES is a reputable elementary school in Taichung. Our well-equipped campus includes modern facilities such as computers, a gym, swimming pool, library, and more. Our bilingual curriculum offers a unique learning experience where students study Chinese and English daily.
As a teacher, you will have two homeroom classes per day with a maximum of 18 students. You will teach 26 periods per week and have 14 periods for preparation. The school year starts in late August or early September, with breaks for Chinese New Year and summer. We follow an American curriculum, providing resources for subjects like Reading, Writing, PE, and more.
Foreign teachers work alongside local ESL teachers, each responsible for two homeroom classes. While ESL teachers handle parent communication and administration, foreign teachers focus on teaching Grammar and creating engaging lessons. You will be involved in various school events and activities throughout the year.
