Online EFL Teachers Wanted for Students in Myanmar

Job Description:

We are currently seeking English Language Instructors to be part of our online teaching team (using Zoom) to teach Upper-Intermediate and/or Advanced level adult learners.

We run communicative English classes for adults and young adults. We are based in Yangon, Myanmar but the job being online, you can teach from anywhere, as long as the working environment is suitable for teaching. Find out more about us on https://www.ihyangon-mandalay.com/

Start date: November 2024
Pay: USD 15/ Hr. paid after month’s end.

Requirements:

CELTA certified
Strong internet connection
C2-level English proficiency
At least one year experience in teaching ESL classes
Experience with teaching on Zoom
Passion and motivation for English language teaching and learning
Availability to teach between 6:00 and 10:30 PM Myanmar time.

An ideal candidate can:

deliver engaging, effective, and communicative learner-centred lessons online
create a supportive and positive classroom environment which is also inducive to learning
provide appropriate and effective feedback on students' oral and written work.
facilitate students’ learning and help build their confidence.
teach a large group
