Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Literature Teacher to teach classic and modern works to international school students (4th–9th grade) in an engaging and interactive online setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in literature and literary analysis, along with experience teaching online group classes.

Responsibilities:
Teach group literature classes (4–8 students per class, 1.5 hours per session).
Guide students through in-depth literary analysis of works such as Shakespeare, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Giver, Holes, 1984, Animal Farm, and other classics.
Develop and refine curriculum materials, including lesson plans, homework and activities.
Assign and check homework, providing detailed feedback to support student growth.
Maintain a dynamic online teaching environment that commands attention and fosters engagement.
Cultivate critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions, written assignments, and projects.
Qualifications:
Education: A degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience teaching literature to students in grades 4–9.
Online teaching experience is essential, with the ability to manage and engage groups effectively.
Skills:
Strong command of literary analysis and critical reading techniques.
Exceptional classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to connect with students from diverse international backgrounds, but especially those from Korea.
Preferred Qualities:
Passion for classic and contemporary literature.
Strong organizational skills to balance teaching, curriculum development, and homework review.
Creative teaching strategies that foster student participation and interest in literature.
Job Details:
Position Type: Part-time, online.
Class Format: Group classes with 4–8 students, 1.5 hours per class.
Curriculum: Provided, with opportunities for additional development.
Compensation: 45,000KRW per hour
