The International Language Centre, located in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, is seeking an experienced English teacher for an immediate start due to increased enrolment. We are a British Council IELTS Registration Centre and specialize in structured IELTS and B1 (CEFR) coaching for teenagers and adults.
Role Overview:
- Teach IELTS preparation, including Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening.
- Deliver B1-level General English lessons aligned with CEFR outcomes.
- Focus on exam strategy, band descriptors, accuracy, and confidence building.
- Conduct small group sessions and one-on-one coaching.
- Utilize recognized IELTS and CEFR-aligned materials.
Essential Requirements:
- Must currently reside in Thailand.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree eligible for a Thai work permit.
- Possess a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL).
- Have experience teaching IELTS and/or B1.
- Demonstrate native-level English proficiency (C2) suitable for exam preparation.
- Exhibit clear, neutral spoken English appropriate for IELTS instruction.
- Be professional, reliable, and available for immediate start.
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience teaching IELTS Speaking and Writing.
- Familiarity with British Council/Cambridge IELTS frameworks.
- Experience working with Thai learners.
