Job Description:

Position Overview

* Direct hire for an annual contract starting early to mid October 2026
* Prepare and teach 15-20 hours of weekly lessons
* Care for children throughout school day (morning assembly, lunch, preparing to go home, etc.)
* Help plan, prepare, and run grade and school-wide activities (sports day, holiday celebrations, field trips, etc.)
* Regular hours of 7:30-16:30 Monday to Friday (not inclusive of occasional meetings and events)
* Attend monthly staff meetings and weekly department meetings


Qualifications

* Native English speaker (Only American, British, Canadian, Australian, New Zealander, Irish nationalities are accepted for this role)
* Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant field from accredited university
* Special consideration will be given to teachers with licenses or training certificate (TESOL, TEFL, etc.)
* Priority will be given to candidates with past teaching experience


Compensation & Benefits:

* 32-37k THB salary depending on prior teaching experience
* Additional pay during April summer course
* Social security 875 THB will be deducted from each pay check. This will provide you with free care at the a large regional hospital near the school.
* Visa/work permit assistance. You can apply for your teaching visa in your country of residence and we will submit your application for work permit once you arrive.
* Housing assistance. We will arrange for nearby housing (rent ranges from 2500 to 6000 THB depending on the accommodations).
* 10 days of paid leave annually
* Sick leave as needed with doctor’s note

About the Demonstration School of Lampang Rajabhat University

We are a growing school with 400+ students from preschool to secondary with a beautiful spacious campus with considerable green space. As a demonstration school we operate under the Faculty of Education at Lampang Rajabhat University and help train student teachers, engage in educational research, and provide professional development and example programs for schools in our area. Our school is located on the outskirts of Lampang City - a cozy town in Northern Thailand a little over an hour’s drive away from Chiang Mai.
